Merle Brennan is one of the cagey old veterans of Sports Car Club of
America road racing. Driving a jet black MGB, he scored SCCA
National victories at Riverside, California and Phoenix, Arizona to take
third place in the Northern Pacific Division E-Production point
standings. He won the B-Production race at the first American Road
Race of Champions in 1964 at Riverside, California in a Jaguar XK-E
coupe, and finished second the following year. Armed with the ex-Jerry
Hansen McLaren 10/ Chevrolet for the 1971 L&M Championship
campaign, Brennan should be even more formidable. Brennan is a
foreign car dealer.
