This will be Colin Hyam's second season of F/5000 competition in
North America. In '72, the Australian campaigned a T192 Lola in six
contests, finishing three of them. He has been racing the powerful
five-liter Formula 5000 cars for two seasons, but has been competing
in motor racing some 11 years. He also competed in the 1972 Tasman
Cup series. In addition to road racing, Hyams is a director of Avrom
Investments in Melbourne.
