Spencer Stoddard has been racing for ten years and is a resident of
Seattle, Washington. A mechanical engineer by profession, he has
moved from recent competition in a Group 7 McLaren Mk3 to a 1970
prospect of Continental Championship racing behind the wheel of a
new Lola T-190. Last year in the McLaren, he won the Pepsi-Cola
professional race at Westwood, British Columbia, and ran back in the
field in three Canadian American Challenge Cup races. In the 1970
Continental series, Stoddard will run as part of a two-car team with Eric
Haga sponsored by the Competition Development Division of Seattle
Aero Marine.
