Well known author, Phil Henny was born in Switzerland and immigrated
to the U.S in 1967. Phil was employed by Carroll Shelby on the
Le Mans winning Team, Gurney – Foyt, Ford MKIV.
Phil's introduction to Formula A/5000 started in a 1970 Lola T140
purchased from Ivan Newlin. Phil in 1971 drove the Lola T140 in a
number of events finishing has high has 2nd in the West Coast SCCA
National.
Later in 1971, Phil switch to a Leda T20 F5000 and continued with
this car into the 1972 season.

NATIONAL US - USARRC 5th.
